Developer Stunlock Studios has revealed that they're adding a Battle Pass as part of a major update for the whole Battlerite franchise, which is coming along with the free-to-play release of Battlerite Royale on February 19.
As we've seen before with the likes of Fortnite, all players will get access to the free version of the Battle Pass, but by upgrading to Premium they'll get more content and other perks. For example, Premium owners can get Battle Stars to level up their Battle Pass, which in turn unlocks more cosmetic rewards like pets, outfits, avatars, and more. Seasonal content will still be featured in the free version though.
The Battle Pass connects both Battlerite and Battlerite Royale, preserving content in either game, and with this new feature comes a new Season system, resetting seasons in the game as well as leaderboards. The first season - Battle Season 1 - will run for around 10 weeks.
For more on the Battle Pass check out the official website, and if you're interested you can invest in the Battle Pass for £9.49 (the same price in USD and euros too). What's more is that you can even pay £24.49 (again the same price in USD and euros) to buy the Pass and 15 extra tiers.
Before you get your wallet out be sure to check the new trailer below, as well as our review of Battlerite Royale too.
