Epic Games has Fortnite on a lot of different platforms, from Android and iOS to PC and all modern consoles, and that's why it's welcome news to hear that the developer is finally letting us merge our accounts so that we can get all our cosmetic items and V-Bucks in one place.

As explained on the game's website, you'll choose two accounts as part of this process, assigning one as the primary you want to continue using while the other is a secondary that you'll merge and then disable. The login of the secondary will then be linked to the primary, and then two weeks later all the V-Bucks and cosmetics will arrive in the primary.

One account must have played on Xbox One or Switch and the other on PS4 before September 28 last year to be eligible though, so this is really for the fans who had different platforms early on. You must also have accounts that aren't banned or disabled, and of course you need access to all email addresses required.

This doesn't just apply to Battle Royale either, as Save the World also lets you merge Llamas, Defenders, Heroes, Survivors, Schematics, XP, Evolution andPerk Materials too. Other items like those from Unreal Marketplace, Creative Islands, and Save the World account level and progress, on the other hand, won't be merged.

In case you missed it, we just brought you the Fortnite Challenges for Season 7, Week 10, and you should also probably know that the latest patch brings bottle rockets and campfires to the game.

Have you been waiting to merge your accounts?
