Mortal Kombat 11

Kabal is back in Mortal Kombat 11

A brand new trailer shows us how the Revenant warrior operates, including of course his hook swords that can deal some damage.

Mortal Kombat 11 is only mere months away from its April 23 release date (although that's later on Nintendo Switch, according to retailer listings), and now we have news on Kabal's return to the franchise, as confirmed by a press release.

As you can see from the new trailer below, Kabal is a quick warrior with hook swords that can deal some damage, and he relies on his artificial respirator to stay alive. He was resurrected as an evil version of himself to serve the Netherrealm, pledging to destroy all other realms in the process. He's also a former Black Dragon enforcer, but now he's on the Revenant side of things.

Speaking of Black Dragons, Kano has been revealed for the game as well, but one character that might not be added despite popular demand is Scooby Doo's Shaggy.

If you're interested in the game check out our recent impressions from the reveal event, and bear in mind D'Vorah has also just been revealed as well.

What character will you be choosing in the fight?
