Being airborne really helps in our Anthem gameplay

Having a cover system has become a common thing in third-person shooters, so Bioware's game feels like a breath of fresh air with its focus on flying.

Anthem doesn't have a cover system, and one of the reasons for this is that your best defence often is going on the offensive in the air. Using your Javelin's boosters to fly around or hover above the enemies makes things a lot easier, as it won't just make some enemies completely harmless or less effective, but might also reduce the cooldown of different abilities, make the Ranger's Ultimate more effective, and simply look cool.

We've recently had our hands on the game and you can see what we mean by watching the gameplay down below, where we take to the skies to deal some pain.
