Resident Evil 2's remake is just one day away from release, but the good news keeps on coming for fans of Capcom's upcoming horror game. We already knew that DLC is being discussed at Capcom, with Ghost Survivors introducing a new mode and fresh characters after launch, but now we also know via the Japanese launch livestream that a low-poly DLC is coming too.
You can find footage of this at around the 58:00 mark on the livestream, and as reported by TechRaptor this is actually coming at launch to Japanese players who buy a PSN gift card. The rest of us can expect it as a free update on March 22, where we can experience older character models for both Leon and Claire reminiscent of the original PlayStation.
Some screenshots of Leon's beautiful angular face can be seen down below, and we should remind you that Tofu will also be showing up in this game as well, which was actually made by 3D scanning real tofu.
We've already played the game and reviewed it, so if you want our thoughts be sure to check out the review right here. Or you could just patiently wait until tomorrow to get your hands on it for the first time.
Do you like these classic models?
