Frontier Developments is a studio that's been hard at work bringing simulation games to us for almost 25 years now, and as reported by GamesIndustry.biz, there's cause to celebrate. After all, they've reached several sales milestones with three games.

Planet Coaster and Jurassic World Evolution have just surpassed two million sales, but with the latter only releasing a mere seven months ago, this means its the most successful launch for Frontier in their history.

Elsewhere Elite Dangerous has surpass three million units too, and combined with the other two games these have helped Frontier reach £64 million in revenue for the first half of the financial year - a whopping £19 million increase on the year before. Projections estimate this could increase to somewhere between £75 million and £88 million before the year is done.

"We are very pleased with the success of Jurassic World Evolution, which has been our biggest launch to date," said CEO David Braben. "Elite Dangerous and Planet Coaster also continue to perform well, as our strategy of supporting, nurturing and enhancing each of our game franchises continues to deliver. I look forward to providing more details about our fourth game franchise, as well as our existing franchises, in the coming months."

Which of these three games is your favourite?
