During the Consumer Electronics Show this week Samsung had a pretty big announcement, literally and figuratively, as they showed off a 98" version of their Q900 line of 8K QLED TV.
If your living room or bedroom won't fit such a beast, don't worry, as smaller versions in 65", 75", 82", and 85" will be available.
For 8K, a lot of computing power is needed, and Samsung still relies on their powerful Quantum Processor 8K, using AI to provide upscaling to 8K from all other sources. We at Gamereactor are still a bit sceptical regarding upscaling to such a big screen, especially with material that isn't at minimum 1080p, but we're excited to see what this machine can do.
Besides all the normal features, this TV also supports iTunes and Airplay 2, although we don't know a price for the TV yet. Don't expect something with this size and power to be cheap though, especially for the biggest model.
Is this your dream TV?
