Super Mario Party is fastest selling in the the series in the US

The Switch is made for jolly cooperation and competitive gamers, which is perhaps why Super Mario Party has been such a hit, using the simplicity of the Joy-Cons to great effect. Perhaps the console is also one of the big reasons why it has sold faster than any other entry in the series in the US, as we've just found out.

The game, released on October 5, has in fact exceeded one million copies sold, as revealed by Nintendo of America through a tweet, helped in no small part by Black Friday and Thanksgiving across the pond.

The Nintendo Switch itself has also had a great time of things during this period, as the console had its best-selling week in the United States ever, growing 115% compared to this same period last year.
