Fanatec is auctioning off their first direct drive-wheels

German sim-racing powerhouse Fanatec has been the leading manufacturer for pro-gear for the serious/fanatic sim-racer for some time now and on December 7 they are taking a big leap forward when releasing their first proper direct drive-wheel. The Fanatec Podium DD Wheel Base is described as the most affordable and the most detailed direct drive-wheel ever released and we're looking forward to testing it ourselves. At Fanatec's own site you can right now enter an auction for some of the first models coming off the manufacturing line and hopefully, they will not get too expensive (but you never know with sim fans).
