Disney's streaming service making Rogue One series

We also know that it's called Disney+.

It has been known for quite some time that Disney is preparing to launch a streaming service similar to Netflix and HBO, and now they have confirmed a name; Disney+. It'll also launch in late 2019.

What's more is that, while we already knew that they're making a Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian, now we know via Deadline that another is coming that's loosely based on the film Rogue One. This series will star Cassian Andor (yet again played by Diego Luna) in the leading role, with Luna saying:

"Going back to the Star Wars universe is very special for me. I have so many memories of the great work we did together and the relationships I made throughout the journey. We have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, and this new exciting format will give us the chance to explore this character more deeply."

Is Disney+ for you?
