Releasing This Week: Oct 22-28

It's not the busiest of weeks it must be said, but perhaps that has something to do with the fact that new Rockstar games are relatively few and far between...

Just Dance is landing on pretty much every platform conceivable on October 23, and there are a couple more games that you could easily file under "family entertainment", with Nickelodeon Kart Racers and PAW Patrol: On a Roll both hitting all of the major console platforms on Tuesday.

Grown-ups, on the other hand, will have to content themselves with Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales on PC, and card battler Gwent is hitting PC, PS4, and Xbox this week too. On PS4 there's a DLC drop worth noting, with Spider-Man: The Heist also landing on the 23rd. Finally, PS4 and Xbox One-owning petrolheads might be tempted to take a closer look at Spintires: MudRunner - American Wilds.

We don't normally mention beta tests in this weekly update, but one or two of you might also be interested in knowing that the beta for Fallout 76 also gets up and running on October 23.

Fast forward to the end of the week and Castlevania Requim is dropping on PS4. Meanwhile, My Hero One's Justice is the only other game brave enough to go up against the week/month/year's biggest release, Red Dead Redemption 2. The long-awaited release of Rockstar's western epic on PS4 and Xbox One probably explains why it's a relatively quiet week...
