Activision has plenty of reasons to celebrate, as not only has Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 just been released, but it's also set a new record for the publisher, being the best day one digital release in their history, breaking last year's record for Call of Duty: WWII.
But wait, there's more, as Activision also claims Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 had the biggest day one digital release ever for a game on the PS Store, which is perhaps even more impressive. On PC, the game was released via Battle.net, and while it didn't break any records, it more than doubled the day one digital sales from WWII.
As for global sales for the game during it's initial weekend, including physical copies, they should be revealed in the next few days. Do you think this is a Call of Duty game that's worthy of these records?
