Many questions remain regarding Fallout 76 and its new online format (which we partly answered via our recent hands-on preview). Many of the questions that prospective players have about the game revolve around how the franchise staples are going to be implemented in this always-online post-apocalypse, as well as the progression of the character and how that will work.

To that point, over on Twitter, one player eager to learn more about progression went direct to Bethesda frontman Pete Hines and asked whether it will be possible to redistribute his S.P.E.C.I.A.L. points once players hit Level 50. The answer was pretty straightforward: "You can not respec your SPECIALs."

With that being the case it sounds like you will need to be careful when updating your avatar because if you're not satisfied with the result, the only option will be to create a new one and start over from scratch.

Fallout 76 will land on November 14 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Check out the gameplay clips added below, which will give you an idea about what Bethesda has in store for us.
