Dead or Alive 6 is one of the games on the show floor at the Tokyo Game Show, and Koei Tecmo has also taken the opportunity to reveal four returning characters for the game, one of which is Ayane, who debuted in the PlayStation version of Dead or Alive back in 1998. She is Kasumi's half-sister and usually has a story revolving around that and/or including Ryu Hayabusa (the Ninja Gaiden protagonist).
Then there's the pro-wrestler Honoka, an 18-year-old girl who actually has her own fighting style; Honoka Fu. She is incredibly popular amongst Japanese fans and debuted in Dead or Alive 5. The Swedish fighter Marie Rose is the third character revealed, who is also 18-years-old and debuted in Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. She fights with Russian martial arts and uses "her small frame to her advantage, outmaneuvering enemies with a variety of tricky moves while turning her opponent's attacks against them".
Finally there's Bayman, an old legend that has been in the series from the very beginning. He is a power character that's slow and not very agile, but then again only needs a few hits to finish the fight. Bayman uses the martial art sambo and is recommended for more skilled players.
Team Ninja has also shown a new stage for the game, called Lost Paradise, which has moving objects and dangerous dinosaurs. A whole bunch of pictures showing the newly revealed characters as well as Lost Paradise can be found below, together with seven pictures from the story mode.
