Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse is finally landing on the Nintendo Switch, and recently we spoke to Revolution Software's Charles Cecil about the new platform and why it's now heading to the hybrid console.
"We're very lucky, because what Nintendo have always been brilliant at is getting a beachhead with hardcore fans and then broadening the market," he said. "They did it with DS, I mean extraordinary, and then that's the audience that plays adventure games. We didn't jump in early - a lot of people did, a lot of developers did, but it didn't feel quite right - and I think now is exactly the right time where we can appeal both to the hardcore Nintendo fans, but also to the much broader audience, so it's great, we're very lucky. We're very lucky also to be in a position to make the choice, because we are self-publishing the game, self-funding it, it's great. We're in a great position."
Is this the perfect fit for Switch?
