Ripstone Games has just confirmed its plan to ship the sci-fi puzzler The Spectrum Retreat to Nintendo Switch via an eShop release on September 13, where it will cost £9.99 / €12.99 / $12.99 (make sure you read our review to find out why this is good news).

The game will be available in Europe and North America, with the exception of Germany and Russia, with those territories having to wait until sometime later in 2018. It's already available for PS4, Xbox One and PC since July this year.

The Spectrum Retreat has been worked on by Dan Smith who won the BAFTA Young Game Designers Award in 2016 for the prototype, being 18 years old at the time. For more on that why not check out our interview with Smith from earlier this year.
