Battlefield V will predictably expand a lot after launch, but the main reason for this is that the game will be pretty thin on content at launch. Swedish developer DICE confirmed last June that players will have access to just two factions, Germans and Brits, out of the box. And now, the official website confirmed that two out of three new online modes will be coming "after launch".

Nobody expected the unseen Battle Royale mode to be ready for October 19, when the game comes for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. But we can't say the same about the multiplayer co-op mode Combined Arms, announced in May along with Grand Operations, the online multi-map mode that recreates historical battles within the game. Electronic Arts has yet to explain when and how is delivering Battle Royale and Combined Arms to Battlefield V players.

Is this a first day purchase for you or better wait for new modes to come?

REVIEW. Written by Kim Orremark

"All the work DICE has done in renewing the core mechanics has resulted in an experience that feels tighter than it has done for many years."
