Ori and the Will of the Wisps is building anticipation as the sequel to the very successful Ori and the Blind Forest, but now we know a brand new mode that's coming to bring a bit more competition to the game, as Spirit Trials will let you race against shadows of your friends to complete courses.
This isn't exactly what you'd expect from a game like this, but if you're intrigued (we certainly are) then you can watch the trailer down below to prepare you for these rather unique competitive challenges.
