After nine months on the Xbox Preview Program, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is ready to gear up and release in full, as we now know that version 1.0 will be hitting Microsoft's console on September 4. This also means that the game will come to retail too, with the disc version including several DLC clothing items and accessories inspired by Xbox branding, which are also available for all players for a limited time.

Coming with PUBG 1.0 for Xbox One is the small Sanhok map for speedier fights in teams of four players, as well as the war Mode, "a deathmatch-style battle royale gaming experience where players hunt each other in a static zone, respawning you back in with a parachute and weapons if you're killed". And don't worry about the achievements already made, as save data from Game Preview will carry over to the full version.

As the cherry on top, Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb visited Bluehole Studio in South Korea and offers us an insight into the final version of PUBG for Xbox One in the video below. Are you pleased to finally see the game launch in full?
