God of War's director Cory Barlog has had a lot of interesting things to say this year, unsurprising given the fact the PS4 game received huge praise from all angles, and now his presentation at Devcom in Cologne has shown us even more interesting information, especially from the concept art on the screen.
During his time on stage Barlog said that there was a divide in the team about what mythology to take Kratos to this time around, according to GearNuke, and with the team split between Norse and Egyptian (something we've heard about before), Barlog's vote was the decider, taking it to the Norse world.
There was some concept art made for the Egyptian side of things though, and GearNuke's pictures below show us how things could have looked. What's more is Barlog also revealed that changes they made to the franchise met a lot of resistance, especially when considering his relationship with Atreus.
Would you play God of War if it went to ancient Egypt?
