The MP5-SD lands in CS:GO

CS:GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive if you didn't know) is one of the most popular competitive games in the world right now, and recently the CS:GO website has revealed a rather big change that's landed in the game, namely the addition of the MP5-SD weapon, which should spice things up a bit.

"Often imitated but never equaled, the iconic MP5 is perhaps the most versatile and popular SMG in the world. This SD variant comes equipped with an integrated silencer and features higher movement speed at the cost of some damage and accuracy on the move," the post reads.

We also got a rather funny tweet about the new weapon, which of course received a lot of response from the community. If you weren't aware, CS:GO is also a rather big esports game (perhaps the biggest), so a new weapon is a pretty big deal.

For now you can access the MP5-SD in Offline and in official Casual and Deathmatch servers, and Valve asks the community to feedback their thoughts on the gun. Have you given it a try yet?
