Rainbow Six: Siege is going to have a good week, as not only is the Paris Major bringing together the best esports teams around the world to fight it out, but we now know there's a free weekend for the game running from August 16 to 19, meaning you can try it out if you have yet to get into the fight.

There are already 35 million players in the community, but if you try the game out this weekend you can carry your progress over to the full game should you decide to invest. You can also get discounts of up to 60% on the various editions of the game between August 16 and 27 too.

For existing fans, it might interest you to know that the full reveal of the contents of Operation Grim Sky - featuring two new operators and a fully reworked map for the first time - will be coming on August 19 during the Paris Major as well, so there's every reason to watch the competitive action.

For more details on the free weekend, check out the game's website, and be sure to watch the trailers below as well. Will you be testing the game?
