Yesterday, Ubisoft revealed that both Child of Light and Valiant Hearts: The Great War will make their way to the Nintendo Switch on October 11 and November 8 respectively, but it seems like fans of Aurora's adventures might have gotten other great news on top of that.
That's because Child of Light's director, Patrick Plourd, decided to apparently also just celebrate the Switch announcement for his game with a nice post and accompanying image on Twitter. Look closer though, and you'll see that he might be celebrating more than that.
See that paper next to the right shoulder button? We can just make out one of the words, but we're fairly certain that the document would say Child of Light II if the Switch wasn't in the way. This is also backed up by the fact that the message is a follow-up to a message from 2015 that reads:
"Fans of Child of Light: There are very cool projects in process set in the Child of Light universe. More News soon. Stay tuned! #excited :D"
That's projects, plural. With that message being posted a few weeks after Nintendo revealed what was known as the NX back then, it's possible that they hadn't just started working on the Switch version, but also the now all but confirmed Child of Light sequel. Time will tell if this is a warm-up before Gamescom or if we'll have to wait longer for the official unveiling of Child of Light II.
What do you want to see in the next game?
