One of this year's most divisive games is Detroit: Become Human, Quantic Dream's narrative adventure that examines themes around slavery, sentience, and domestic violence. It's a game that split opinion around release (spoiler: we liked it), but despite a mixed reaction from critics, it seems to have resonated with a lot of players and has, according to the game's creators, been played by more than 1.5 million people.
