Super Smash Bros. Ultimate going Direct this week

Masahiro Sakurai to reveal the latest on the fighting game.

Nintendo has announced a new Nintendo Direct is on the way for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with director Masahiro Sakurai set to reveal some juicy new details about the eagerly anticipated all-star fighting game.

The show will go live on August 8, at 3pm BST / 4pm CEST, and as always you will have several options in terms of where you can watch it, including the official website and Facebook.

Will we finally get Waluigi as a playable character? And does Nintendo have any more potentially crowd-pleasing announcements to make? We'll find out on Wednesday afternoon.
