Every year fans look forward to getting their hands on the demo of the coming edition of Pro Evolution Soccer to see what kind of changes have been made, and this year is no different. Now, as part of the festivities around the PES League World Finals which took place this weekend in Barcelona, we've discovered when the demo will drop, with Konami's Lennart Bobzien confirming the date and a few details.

"It's August 8th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and, very important, for our PC fans it will be available on PC as well," Bobzien told Gamereactor. "Here at the World Finals, we're super happy to make this kind of announcement, 'cause we know our fans, they were waiting for it, when they can get their hands on the game finally."

"On top of that you'll be able to play offline with the single player mode, you will also be able to play with the co-op mode, and also you will be able to play online in the quick play, so you can get the full experience of our online mode in our demo"

"Also, as you've seen in our trailer there will be in total 12 teams available. We have six European teams such as obviously our partner clubs, such as Barcelona, Monaco, Inter, AC Milan, Schalke. Then we'll also have South American teams available such as Sao Paulo or Palmeiras. And obviously, cannot be missed, the current world champion, France, so our fans will be able to play with France".

"When it comes down to the stadiums I think that's really exciting, there will be two stadiums available. One will be the Camp Nou and the second one will be Schalke's home ground, the Veltins Arena, which is being introduced in PES 2019."

So there you have it, the demo is landing on all three platforms on August 8, which precedes the full release of the game on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on August 30.
