If you weren't aware, right now in Rocket League there's an anniversary event to celebrate the game's birthday, and what better way to get the festivities going than with a big old Xbox Game Pass party, since Psyonix's title has just landed on the subscription service for players to get stuck into.
Director Scott Rudi made the big announcement at the Xbox Inside show, where he said he expects to click with new players and also with some returning ones thanks to the anniversary event and discounts offered on the platform for all DLC. Rudi also said that Rocket League support for Xbox One X is coming as well as a big improvement to the cross-play multiplayer (on PC, Switch and Xbox One) thanks to the Rocket ID system which allows players to invite friends on other platforms.
Are you a Game Pass user who'll be trying this out?
