PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds only recently got updated with the new Sanhok map, the smaller 4x4km arena that packs players more closely for a more immediate PUBG experience. Now, the dev team has added a new patch to the game that fixes some environmental issues with the game that players have been exploiting as they search for that elusive chicken dinner.

As you can see in this fun little YouTube vid there are places where players can hide in plain sight, using an unfair advantage to take out unsuspecting opponents as they walk past. PUBG Corp is most certainly nipping that one in the bud.

On top of that, there are quite a few changes of note, most obvious among them being the new-look lobby, plus a handy countdown timer so you can get a sense of how long it will be before you drop into the next match. Sanhok is also getting a few cosmetic changes, with more detailed rocks and ruins added to the game.

Finally, there's also a War Mode event heading to Sanhok, starting on July 6 at 3am BST and running until the same time on July 9, which will drop teams of five into a smaller section of the map with shotguns, pistols and bandages, with airdrops replacing the standard loot system. Sounds messy.
