We recently had the chance to interview actor Doug Cockle about his role in Victor Vran: Overkill Edition, an action-RPG which is coming to Nintendo Switch on August 28th. In the interview, which you will be able to read here on Gamereactor very soon, we also talked about Geralt and the Witcher series.
Doug wasn't shy about sharing his thoughts regarding the future of CD Projekt Red's fantasy saga, and when asked whether Soul Calibur VI would be the last time he reprised the role of Geralt, Doug had this to say:
"If you're leading into The Witcher 4, I can only say I have no idea, although I think it will be. This is my own opinion, and CD Projekt Red knows what they are doing, and I have no idea what the plan is, but... If I was CD Projekt Red, I would make The Witcher 4, but I would be focusing on Ciri. In The Witcher 3 she hints at visiting other worlds (including Cyberpunk 2077!), and I think a game around her visiting those different worlds would be a cool Witcher 4."
A Witcher game about Ciri? Yeah, we would be down for that! Take note, CD Projekt Red. As for the full interview with Doug Cockle, be sure to keep checking Gamereactor as we'll share it in the near future.
