Darwin Project

Darwin Project free to play on Xbox One starting in July

The console edition follows the same path as the PC version.

Scavengers Studio has confirmed on Twitter that Darwin Project will be a free-to-play game on Xbox One from July 4. The PC version already went down this road in April, and if you've already bought the game, you'll be rewarded with a Founder's Pack on July 3 and will also be able to get a refund on the game.

Darwin Project places players in a twisted reality show in an icy cold climate, where 10 players fight to the death. The Xbox One version will also get "improved performance" and a friend system on top of this, so there are plenty of reasons to dive into the action.

Have you given the game a go yet?
