Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden was at E3 2018 closed doors. Gamereactor had the chance to take a look at this combination of exploration, stealth and strategic combat inspired by the pen and paper role-playing game Mutant Year Zero, a modern rendition of the classic Mutant. This book will be included with the Deluxe Edition of the video game, Funcom just announced.
Pre-orders are open at the official website for the Standard Edition (€34.99), with a 3-day head start access to the full game before launch, and for a Deluxe Edition (€54.99) full of extras. The most interesting one is a digital copy of the Mutant Year Zero pen and paper RPG book, and also includes a desktop wallpaper and the digital artbook and soundtrack. Lastly, it gives access to the beta whenever it kicks off.
Developers at The Bearded Ladies also produced a new gameplay trailer that introduces the special abilities of the three main characters of the game. Bormin uses charge, Dux can fly with mothwings and uses a crossbow with explosive arrows, and Selma has a shield ability called Stoneskin.
