The cartoon-like graphics of Fortnite have been designed to keep the game accessible for as many people as possible. The fan-favourite dance emotes (there are dozens, and some of them are very silly) also contribute to that aim. However, it seems as though Epic Games has decided to take things a step further.
Indeed, in order to improve the in-game animations, the Fortnite devs have decided to make the emotes a little more expressive and no less than 16 dances will be affected by the coming update. The emotes that have been reviewed as part of update 4.4.1 are as follows:
True Love, Tidy, Breaking Point, Pure Salt, Kiss Kiss, Face Palm, Jubilation, Finger Guns, Hootenanny, Squat Kick, Step it Up, Disco Fever, Fresh, Take the L, Make it Rain, and Flippin' Sexy.
According to Epic Games, these are just the first animations to undergo a redesign, and others should follow suit. So the next time you eliminate an opposing player make sure you do a dance and give 'em a smile.
Epic also recently unveiled a new emote this week. This one will allow your character to cry. You can either mourn the death of a teammate or, more likely, troll an opponent who you just defeated. The new emote is already available in the shop for the sum of 200 V-Bucks, one more reason to cry.
