Bandai Namco announced today that Soul Calibur VI is coming to several platforms on October 18 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (retail), while the digital versions for console and PC (via Steam) will arrive the day after.
Set in the 16th century, Soul Calibur VI takes players on a journey of discovery as they unveil the events of the original Soul Calibur to uncover all of its secrets. The game will also include a roster of new and returning characters, each with a particular style of combat and specific weapons, including the famous Mitsurugi and Sophitia, and some new entries, such as the special guest, Geralt of Rivia, from The Witcher series by CD Projekt Red, and GrØh.
The game's publisher also announced a Collector's Edition, which includes a 35 cm tall Sophitia figurine, Soul Calibur VI's Season Pass, the digital soundtrack, a Collector's Edition Box, and, of course, the game.
