Battlefield V won't have a Premium Pass

If you're a Battlefield 1 fan you'll no doubt be aware that not all the content has always been available for everyone, as aside from special offers players had to pay for access to expansions like In The Name of the Tsar, but that won't be the case with Battlefield V, as we found out today.

Yes, EA and DICE are doing away with the Premium Pass for the new game, which will now be bringing new maps and modes to players free of charge (or as part of the original investment you make, depending on how you look at it). As DICE said themselves, there's a stronger emphasis on squads this time around, and it doesn't make sense if a squad of friends can't all play the same content.
