Black Ops 4's focus on multiplayer does not seem so weird after all.

Yesterday it was revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will not feature a traditional single-player campaign, and although this decision may upset some players Activision may have very good reasons to focus on multiplayer and Battle Royale.

According to statistics from TrueAchievement, 28.65% of Xbox One players actually played the Story mode of Call of Duty: WWII and only 22% finished the campaign. This was actually an increase from the 16% that played it in Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare and 4% (!) who got stuck into the campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. The most finished and played single-player campaign on the Xbox was Call of Duty 3 from 2006, which an average of 35.91% played.

Do you mind them skipping the single-player campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4?
