If you consider yourself a video game enthusiast, you know that usually all the patches for your favourite games are first made available for the PC version, before coming days or sometimes even weeks later for Sony's and Microsoft's consoles. May we see this change in the future though?
A discussion on Twitter between the president of Hi-Rez Studios Stew Chisam and a ResetEra user Enrico Lopez seems to suggest so, as the former claimed that "Sony and Microsoft now offer same-day patch certification for developers".
So it seems that finally console players are getting those necessary fixes and patches faster than what has been in practice for many years now. Is this welcome news?
