Kingdom Hearts III has already been in development for over a decade and suffered countless delays, so fans are of course wary that something very similar might happen to the planned 2018 release window, especially given the silence from developer Square Enix. The company reassures us, however, that the title is on track to meet its expected release window.
According to the company's recent financial report (brought to us via GamesIndustry.biz), Square Enix has confirmed that the game is still scheduled to be released in 2018. This comes after a longer period of silence from the development team, but Square Enix remains adamant, and the last time they did that, they did manage to release Final Fantasy XV in 2016.
