The Banner Saga hits Nintendo Switch next week

The first instalment in the epic series of The Banner Saga was released back in 2014 to a rather positive response (a review of which you can find here), and now we know when the game will be hitting the Nintendo Switch, coming on May 17, which is next Thursday.

Developer Stoic announced this release date, and here's what general manager of publisher Versus Evil Steve Escalante had to say on this: "Launching The Banner Saga on Nintendo Switch is an exciting moment for us, as we gear up in 2018 to enter the third and final chapter of the series it's only fitting we give Nintendo players an opportunity to enjoy this award-winning Viking inspired saga where the journey begins."

The third entry is coming on July 24, so if you have yet to play the series then now might be the right time. Have you had a chance to try it out yet?
