Trailblazers offers true co-op racing

When we visited the Rising Star Games booth at PAX East, the developers from British outfit Supergonk, had already left the show, racing back home to put the finishing touches to Trailblazers ahead of its May release date across PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One platforms. Good thing then that Rising Star Games marketing guy Stephen Elphick was on hand to talk us through the basics of this interesting new title.

"Trailblazers is really about working as a team", says Elphick. "It's about painting the track, and then boosting on that paint, and accruing the most points over the course of the race to make your team victorious."

The conversation also touched on the various characters and roles players will take on, as well as the various split-screen and online options available.
