For some years now, since 2010, Sony has been offering free games through its PlayStation Plus online subscription service. Over the years we've had some great games drop as part of the deal, including Far Cry 3, Remember Me, and Rocket League to name but three.

Now Sony has announced that from March 8, 2019, there'll be no more games offered to PS3 and PS Vita owners, with both platforms set to be cut loose. On the bright side, owners of both will be able to enjoy a few complimentary games over the next twelve months and the change is still some time off. Once the changes are made, players will still have to continue to subscribe to PS Plus to access the games previously received as part of the service.
