Stellaris has sold 1.5 million copies

New expansion Apocalypse has launched for the grand strategy space game.

On the eve of releasing the latest expansion for space strategy game, Stellaris, Paradox Interactive has announced that the game has sold in excess of 1.5 million copies to date. The new expansion, Apocalypse (check out its launch trailer below), is topping the Steam charts after its release yesterday and adds some rather brutal new features including a "planet killer" Death Star-like weapon called "Colossus".
