First sales indicate success for Kingdom Come: Deliverance

300,000 copies have already been sold on Steam.

Warhorse Studios' historic RPG has critics and players divided over Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which offers an impressive historic world that's plagued with technical problems. Despite mixed opinions about the state of the game at launch, it has already sold 300,000 copies on Steam since release, making it the current bestselling game on the digital platform, according to Warhorse and reported by

A chunk of the development costs have already been covered by the original Kickstarter campaign and private investments, but the studio still needs to sell a lot more to cover everything. "A little more than 1 million sold copies would be nice for us, we are somewhere in the middle now after two days," Daniel Vávra of Warhorse told Czech news channel ČT24.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Be sure to check out our review of the game right here.
