Yesterday Bungie published a roadmap showing what's happening in Destiny 2 this spring. According to game director Christopher Barrett, "everything you'll find below will be delivered to every player of Destiny 2". In other words, you don't need to buy a season pass or individual DLCs to enjoy these upcoming updates, which Barrett calls "game enhancements".

So what's coming? As you can see from the picture below, update 1.1.2 is already online, and with it comes improvements for Raid Rewards, a buff for Prometheus Lens, a fix for Flashpoint Milestone, Exotics in Heroic Strikes and so on.

Update 1.1.3 is launching on February 27, and it includes (among other things) a reduction of Exotic Repetition, improvements on Nightfall Scoring & High Score Tracking, and some Emblem/Aura rework.

Season 2 ends with update 1.1.4, which is coming out March 27, and includes penalties for Crucible quitters, Iron Banner 6v6, Heroic Strike modifiers, and some tuning for Crucible's gameplay and ammo. We predict that these changes for the competitive multiplayer may well cause a bit of a stir

Season 3 starts in May, and with it comes update 1.2.0 bringing Eater of Worlds prestige mode, seasonal Crucible rankings, private matches, increase in Vault space, and seasonal vendor progression.

And although it's not very clear by looking at the picture, expansion pack #2 is also launching in May.

Barrett concludes that more details and screenshots about the new features are coming in the future. He also thanks the Destiny community for their feedback, which they certainly have provided for the developers since the game was launched back in September 2017.

Is there still a chance for Destiny 2, or have you already moved on to other things? Leave your comments below.
