Back in December 2017, it was revealed that Deadly Premonition: The Board Game is launching in early 2018. Now the time has come, and the game is available here for £50 / $60. For a full board game, the price doesn't seem that bad.

The Deluxe Edition of the game includes "premium items such as, a custom die, original soundtrack, a themed gaming cloth, and a download code for the original cult hit PC video game, upon which the board game is based." That means if you're yet to experience the video game that the board game is based on, now is your chance to do that as well.

The board game has been developed by publisher Rising Star Games, and it puts players in the town of Greenvale, where detectives are investigating a murder. Each player has six suspects to investigate. Of course innocents must be protected, evidence must be collected, and eventually, the killer must be apprehended. The length of a typical game session is around 30-45 minutes, which makes the game good for short bursts with 2-4 friends. Themes here are pretty grim, so the recommended age is 18+. For more information about the game, you should go here.

In case you don't remember, Deadly Premonition was launched back in 2010 for Xbox 360, and a few years later for PS3 and PC (as a Director's Cut). People either loved or hated the game, and it has a Twin Peaks kind of vibe to it. Sound like something you and your friends would enjoy?
