Last week, the charity project Awesome Games Done Quick took place with gamers trying to beat games as fast as humanly possible in order to collect money for a worthy cause. Over 150 games were beaten and once again they outdid their previous record when it comes to charity contributions. This year over $2.27 million was donated by over 32,000 people. 130 of those individuals donated over $1000 individually. This year, all the money went to the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
A few of the games that were featured with speedruns was Hollow Knight, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (which was finished in just five hours). Did you watch any games or donate and what do you think of Awesome Games Done Quick?
