Startup company Utomik was founded in 2014 as one of the first subscription-based gaming platforms, and following its first beta, Utomik is now preparing for an official launch in early 2018, having brought in over 70 publishing partners like Ubisoft, Sega, Disney, and more.

There are over 670 selections to choose from and it is the only subscription gaming platform with a family plan, including options for parental control. On top of this the program's user experience will also be expanded alongside its feature set and game library, and pricing for the official launch currently stands at £4.49 a month for a single user and $8.49 for four-user family plan. If you sign up before the official launch, however, you get an open beta discounted price for 12 months.

Utomik adds an average of five games a week to "ensure the platform remains fresh for their subscribers," with the current library including franchises like Sonic, Borderlands, Saints Row, Jurassic Park, and more. The company has also teamed up with certain publishers to add games the same day they're released elsewhere too, making them the first subscription gaming service to do this.

The technology works with low bandwidth and determines download size dynamically based on the connection speed. This means you don't have to stream games from a server, but you can run games from your own PC as it continues to load.
