Targem Games' Crossout is currently hosting a new Halloween event until November 9, seeing a whole lot of spooky content come into the game, including a new PvP mode and some cosmetic items.

The new PvP mode is called Witch Hunt and requires players to obtain Halloween Pumpalloons and keep them for as long as possible, with all players using the same unarmed vehicle. Pumpalloons are then stolen by ramming whoever has them, which shouldn't be too hard with the six Jet Boosters everyone has. Respawns are unlimited too, so players can go nuts.

The first night map also comes to Crossout with this event, which is called Sector EX, requiring players to fight for control over an abandoned industrial site in the centre of the map. The industrial complex in question has multiple floors and a whole load of corridors, which makes navigating in the dark a bit tricky.

On top of all this, victories in all PvP modes over the next few weeks will give players Hazardous Sweets, which can be used to craft Fright Containers that hold exclusive decorative items for vehicles, as well as player avatars, paints, and car horns. You can also sell these Hazardous Sweets too, if you so choose.

More information on the event can be found on the official website, and you can also take a look at the trailer and some new screens down below. Will you be trying your luck at Witch Hunt?

REVIEW. Written by Sam Bishop

"More in-depth modes would definitely be appreciated in the future, to make what is a fun and destructive battler into something a touch more complete."
