Ninja Theory's Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice came out back in August and received praise for how it dealt with mental health issues, with the studio conducting extensive research into the topic. Now, Ninja Theory has confirmed that it will donate all proceeds ("by proceeds we mean the money Ninja Theory receives from retailers/platforms from the sales") from Hellblade sales today to UK mental health charity Rethink, because today is World Mental Health Day.

This year World Mental Health Day is specifically focused on raising awareness for these types of issues in the workplace, and a new trailer for the game includes Hellblade fans talking about their own experiences with mental health.

Some of the themes dealt with in Hellblade include psychosis, and mental health is explored through voices in Senua's head, as well as a bending of reality, something that the player experiences alongside Senua.

For more on Hellblade check out the new trailer down below as well as our experience playing the game on our livestream and our review. Will you be investing in the game today?

REVIEW. Written by Eirik Hyldbakk Furu

"Ninja Theory said that they didn't want to make a game that was supposed to entertain everyone, but give us an experience we'd never seen before."
