The appeal of the HTC Vive "is a global thing"

HTC's Graham Breen talked to us about the headset's appeal.

  • Text: Sam Bishop

At Gamescom in Cologne this year we got to talk with HTC's program manager Graham Breen about the HTC Vive VR headset, and when we asked about the appeal in different areas of the world, Green explained that it's a pretty worldwide thing.

"It's not so different actually," he said. "Passionate people are the same the world over, and if people try it and love it, we get a similar reaction whether we show it in Los Angeles or London, in Berlin or [...] Boston. It's actually very similar, and that really is because, if you look at some of the big titles, they've got worldwide fanbases. If you look at the availability of content, it's not restricted to certain countries - it really is a global thing."

Do you think Vive can grow to be even more of a global success?
