Insidia is 'a mix between Xcom and League of Legends'

We had a chat with Bad Seed producer Gianpaolo Greco about Insidia, a strategic turn-based take on the MOBA formula, that recently launched in open beta on Steam.

"It's a mix between Xcom and League of Legends", explains Greco when asked to give us the quick pitch. "But we decided to take the turn-based strategy really seriously, so we don't want to have waiting time in the game so we feature a unique 1v1 battle where both opponents do their actions simultaneously."

As such it becomes a game of anticipating the opponent's move, and of thinking a few moves ahead (as the clock is ticking fast each turn).

Insidia is available now to sample in open beta over on Steam, Bad Seed also has plans to bring the concept over to mobile platforms, but first things first as the full launch of the PC game is planned for early 2018.
